ABOUT US
At Paige and Friends Helping Hands, we are committed to working today for a brighter and better tomorrow. What began many years ago as a simple effort to host Back-to-School events at our local church has grown into a dynamic, community-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children, families, and underserved communities throughout South Florida.
Our early work focused on equipping families with school supplies and encouragement to start the academic year strong. As our vision expanded, so did our impact. We officially launched Paige and Friends Helping Hands to formalize our mission and broaden our reach.
Over 15 years ago, we began partnering with local companies to provide laptops, STEM education, and mentoring to students in need—helping to bridge the digital divide and empower youth with 21st-century skills. This commitment to educational equity has remained at the heart of everything we do.
Year-Round Programs at Paige and Friends Helping Hands
At Paige and Friends Helping Hands, our commitment to empowering youth and uplifting families goes far beyond summer programming. Throughout the year, we operate a wide range of impactful services designed to support educational achievement, family stability, and community well-being. Our programs are built on the principles of consistency, compassion, and community collaboration.
Weekly Feeding Program
Every week, we provide hot meals and essential food items to youth and families through our Feeding Program at Brownsville Church of Christ. This initiative serves as a vital resource for those experiencing food insecurity and ensures that no child or adult in our community has to go without a nourishing meal.
Mentoring & Life Skills Coaching
Our mentoring program pairs youth with positive role models who offer guidance, encouragement, and accountability. Mentors work with students on:

We focus especially on middle and high school students, providing them with the structure and emotional support needed to thrive academically and socially.
After-School Tutoring

Community Giveaways
Paige and Friends Helping Hands hosts Spring and Fall Community Giveaways that serve hundreds of families across South Florida. These events are more than just resource distributions—they are community celebrations of support and hope.

Through our partnership with Hard Rock Stadium, youth gain real-world experience in customer service, food handling, teamwork, and professional etiquette.
